Your breathing records
PawPaw Works operates Rehale. No account is required. Session and measurement records (pattern, time, length, breath rate, Breath Sync scores), your own patterns and colors, and settings are stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch, which keep each other in step. PawPaw Works runs no server for this data and cannot see it.
iCloud backup
Back Up to iCloud is on by default and can be turned off in Settings on each iPhone. When on, your records and settings are kept in your own iCloud (Apple’s key-value storage) so they return after a reinstall or on a new iPhone. Turning it off stops further backups and leaves the existing iCloud copy as it is. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to iCloud.
Sensors and Health
To follow your breathing, the iPhone reads its motion sensors while it rests on you, and the screen can read your touches; this is processed on the device and not kept as raw data. On Apple Watch, Rehale reads heart rate during a session (through a workout session) to calculate Breath Sync and, with Rehale Pro, to find your breathing pace. Finished sessions are written to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes if you allow it; you can turn this off in Settings or in the Health app.
Apple Intelligence
“How Are You Now?” and the AI Summary in Stats use Apple’s on-device model on devices with Apple Intelligence turned on. What you type is used only to make that suggestion; it is not saved by Rehale or sent to PawPaw Works. Quick choices and the rest of the app work without Apple Intelligence.
Purchases
Apple handles payments. RevenueCat validates and restores Rehale Pro using an anonymous purchase identifier, transaction and entitlement records, and technical data such as device, system, app version, locale and storefront. Rehale also reads short in-app notices from the same RevenueCat offering. No breathing records, Health data, name or email are sent to RevenueCat, and we never receive card details. No ads or tracking
Rehale shows no ads, contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
Export and deletion
A CSV export (Rehale Pro) goes only where you choose to save or share it. Deleting a record removes it from the app, and the deletion carries over to your Apple Watch and iCloud backup. Deleting the app removes its local data; an iCloud backup, Health entries and exported files are managed separately. PawPaw Works holds no copy to recover or erase.
